FOR
PARENTS.
“I want to go.”
Talk it through as a family.
IMI Japan is developing overseas programs where children can experience baseball, English and different cultures in the U.S. For families considering a child’s first trip abroad, we share the experiences we’re planning and information to help you decide.
BEYOND THE FIELD
Discover the world
through baseball.
Practice with local players. Play a game. Try introducing yourself in the English you’ve learned. Through baseball and everyday life beyond the field, we hope to give children a chance to discover a world they haven’t yet experienced.
Plans include homestays, opportunities to use English, a visit to the UC Irvine campus and training at a local academy. We’ll share the confirmed activities when registration opens.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
BEFORE
THE TRIP.
Questions are
part of the journey.
Where will your child stay? Who will accompany them? How can you get in touch if something happens? Alongside the excitement, there are questions you’ll want answered.
We’re currently preparing a program lasting one week in the U.S. Dates, eligibility, fees, accommodation, supervision arrangements and local contact procedures will be included in the registration information.
We don’t believe studying abroad is right for every child. Our aim is to give children a chance to discover the world and then choose their own path.
